Favorite episode(s) overall?

I love the one when Mike and Frankie decide to let each of the kids have "their own day" to do what they want but by the time they get to Brick, they're so tired they just go to pick out shoes. Definitely one of my favorites. I also love the one when Frankie has to take Bricks social group trick r treating and she gets mad at that lady for not saying sorry.

Re: Favorite episode(s) overall?

I don't know if I have a single favorite. I think that my list of top episodes in no particular order includes:

Season 1 Episode 23: "Signals" - Sue Heck meets Reverend TimTom. Axl desperately wants "hot chicks" to swim at their backyard bbq.

Season 1 Episode 24: "Average Rules" - Brick fights with a librarian played by Betty White. BETTY WHITE! 'Nuff said. The end of that episode is hilarious! Sue is desperate to make it on the no-cut cross country teambut must first run a lap with an injury. She faces obstacle after obstacle to the theme of Chariots of Fire. You can feel her pain and joy as the crowd shouts, "You can do it, Barb!"

Season 4 Episode 11: "Life Skills" - Axl and Sue are partnered in a project. Brick and his school therapist discuss life and school. The tree branch destroys the car windshield and the Hecks struggle with their insurance company.

Season 4 Episode 22: "Hallelujah Hoedown" - Axl and Cassidy break up at the prom (enter Weird Ashley) and Sue fails her driver's testagain.

Season 5 Episode 23/24: "Orlando" and "The Wonderful World of the Hecks" - The Hecks adventure to Disney World is filled with misadventure beginning with traveling to the WRONG PARK.

Season 6 Episode 8: "The College Tour" - Mike attends Sue's college-tour weekend and misses Axl's first football game. Devin Levin gives Axl a tough time for fumbling in the game. I guess that the reason that I like this episode is how Mike realizes that his little girl is growing up and he wonders whether or not he was a good father. Sue mentions the rocks that Mike brings her if he finds one that is interesting. I don't have kids yet but I hope that I can do little things for my daughter or son once I have one.

I think that there are a few others that I've overlooked, but these stand out. I think that the trip to Orlando is the quintessential Hecks episode (albeit at Disney World). However, I think that "Life Skills" is my favorite episode. Eden Sher (Sue Sue Heck) should have won an Emmy for that episode alone.
