Serena : Spectacularly awful!

This was one of those movies where you're left scratching your head and wondering what were they thinking? The screenplay sounded like a high school creative writing project. (When I can predict what's going to happen in the next 20 minutes, that's not good.) Did Jennifer Lawrence owe somebody a favor by doing this film? And then dragging Bradley Cooper into it. No wonder they broke up afterwards! I suppose they both did their best with a sophomoric script, but actually, it dragged both of them down.

P.S. Filmed in the Czech Republic, which looks absolutely nothing like the Great Smoky Mountains.

I couldn't agree more. Worse movie and so iritating. I think jennifer lawrence is fugly.

It's a good looking movie and cast desperately in need of a decent story and direction. One spectacular failure!

Its awfulness is so perplexing, it just left me wondering how it all went so terribly wrong. Its a movie made by talented people, so yeah its left me baffled as to what happened.
