Power Rangers : Why do the trailers look so…generic?

They way it was marketed is weird to me. It looks like they were quickly put together to go directly to Youtube. Why does the teaser trailer have the stupid intro that says "official teaser trailer"? It seems so sketch.

But compare with Logan, two trailers that look much more like a blockbuster. The trailers look like something that would debut before a movie. Also these two movies get released around the same time, yet Logan's first official trailer was over 2 months ago. For Power Rangers, we're just now getting the first.

The way it all marketed and put together. This movie comes out in 2 months, and we're just getting our first trailer? Compare with a big blockbuster like Avengers when their first trailer came out 6 months before releaseand people we're anticipating it then. The trailer should've come out sometime in October. It doesn't seem like a lot of people are interested in this. There's no hype for it compared with the Avengers and Logan.

very generic. However I think that is probably less the trailers fault as much as that the film itself is extremely generic.

The characters, the Power Rangers, somehow seem to have no identity from one another. all just identical seeming like teenagers or whatever.

The villain chick is unbearably cheesy and cheap looking. It worked in the original show because A) expectations weren't very high, and B) it sort of embraced its own campiness

it does seem very generic. Sort of like Transformers mixed with the new version of Fantastic Four

I was thinking "Fantastic Four" combined with the second "Mortal Kombat" movie. Rita Repulsa looks like one of the female baddies from that movie; Jade, I think the name was.

The teaser made me put this movie in the same category as Chronicle.
Yesterday's trailer put it in the same category of 2016's Max Steel.
I'm still really heartbroken about it. I was looking forward to this movie big time.

This looks generic because it's a POS just trying to get your money (as all movies do) just that this one is using very little effort.
