Meet Me in St. Louis : Joe Cobb as Clinton Badger?

This has always bugged me since I noticed it. How does an uncredited role make it to the entire cast list on IMDb? If somebody thinks that they see an actor in an uncredited role, can they add it whether it's correct or not?

Anyway, I don't think that Joe Cobb played Clinton Badger (the short, heavy man that Judy is dancing with at the Christmas dance). Yes, Joe Cobb was short and heavy but I remember him from Our Gang/The Little Rascals and he seemed very different looking in the face and sounding in the voice. Joe was 16, 19 and 20 in the shorts that I most know him from, so he was not exactly a child and changed a lot.

I also have Leonard Maltin's book about Our Gang and there is no mention of Joe being in MMISL in his bio.

The role of Clinton Badger from MMISL is also listed on Joe's IMDb page as his last role.

I agree, the actor in that scene does not look like Joe Cobb. I thought he resembled the guy who appears alongside Judy Garland in the "Minnie from Trinidad" number in Ziegfeld Girl, but I don't know the actor's name. If I did, I'd try to correct the cast list for this movie.

YES! He does look like the man from Minnie From Trinidad!

I just checked the cast of MMISL and Joe Cobb is no longer listed. MMISL is no longer on Joe's IMDb page, either
