Jessica Jones : Will the show be any good without Kilgrave?

I honestly have only seen clips of this show featuring Kilgrave. I'm a fan of David Tennant and I am wondering if it will still be watchable without Kilgrave.

I don't think he is really dead.
In the comics he has a pretty strong healing factor, i wouldn't be surprised if this is how they bring him back. Tennant did such a good job and purple man is such a central villian to jessica jones i don't think they are done with him.
