It Follows : Wow, reminds me of summers in Belleville, IL

Not the monster part, but the way the film gets that sense of drifting summer ennui in small-town Midwest. Probably never go back to that area since it concerned a long-gone girlfriend, but the movie is nice time capsule of a certain time and place.

I am from Illinois/Indiana, and this film was the epitome of the Midwest! Nothing looked "fancy" but the area didn't look poverty stricken either. It looked like every small town I have ever lived in.
