It's a Wonderful Life : Wonder if….(spoiler)

The alternate reality sequence in any way inspired the Twilight Zone episode "Person or Persons Unknown."

I'm not familiar with that particular episode. The sequence where George experiences what it was like not to have been born does seem to have heavily inspired the part of 'Back to the Future part 2' where Biff creates the alternate Hill Valley.

Yes I saw this for the first time a couple days ago and all I could think of was Biff when he was running through Potterville

Did you just give a spoiler alert on a 70 year old movie?

Well the movie may be 70 years old but that doesn't mean everyone on earth has seen it. People are born everyday. Babies, kids, then eventually adults are a continual thing so there will always be someone who hasn't seen it yet. In that respect a spoiler alert makes sense.

If you read IMDB's terms and conditions, their view is that a spoiler is a spoiler. It doesn't matter if its the latest release or a decades old classic.

Indeed, just as the alternate reality scenes in Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" inspired those in "It's a Wonderful Life."
