Grant Heslov : Ruined Ben Affleck's Moment

No one wants to hear what you have to say, this is Ben Affleck's moment, you sat there yammering about nothing. If Ben had won for Best Director and had actually been nominated for it I would not care, but I mean he should have had the chance to speak and when he did get to speak he was rushing through his speech.

I know. He literally walked up to him as he was speaking and moved him.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this! I thought there would be news articles about it or something! He literally pushed Ben Affleck out of the way as he was 5b4opening his mouth to say something! I mean c'mon!! The guy can't catch a break this whole awards season, let alone career and he REALLY pushed him out of the way! No one cared what about what you were saying or George Clooney. It was HIS moment!

You guys are F'n idiots. He made it a point to step forward first to INTRODUCE Affleck like it WAS just his award. The award actually did belong to him,Affleck and Clooney. He was giving him props with a nice introduction to point out that Ben was snubbed and make it a point to reitterate the fact. The guy did Ben a great service. You guys need to go kill yourselves. Man you all are stupid.

Grant wanted to go first to introduce him as a great director. He made a point to say that because he was not Nominated for Director.

I have to say I never noticed myself that Grant pushed Ben from the spotlight. I mean come on, it sounds like Grant litteraly kicked Ben down from the stage but even Ben himself told Grant it was ok for him to start.
I also felt that Ben got the chance to say what he wanted to say and since it was the very last category I doubt that the orchestra would interrupt him during his speech. I think he rushed things because he was suprised and overwhelmed.

lol what is affleck gonna say? 'no, actually grant, i wanna speak'? that would've come off horribly for affleck. would've been an insanely awkward moment that ben would've taken flack for.
you could tell ben was super pissed because he made mention of how long grant heslov talked in his rushed speech.
in interviews right after the win affleck's was like 'well, after grant finished talking i felt fine'
