The recurring older actress that's generally featured is Birdy. . .played by Ann Morgan Guilbert, who notably played Millie on the old Dick Van Dyke Show.


Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

Yes.I loved her. It was so sad to see Birdie go.

And two others who made guest appearances whose names now escape me.June Squibb, and the actress from "Carrie" and "Eight is Enough" whose also done lots of Broadway, including "Sunset Boulevard", I believe. She was marvelous in her role.
