Film Art and Cinematography : Violence in Film

Violence in Film

Maybe not in most live action films, but like in Fantasia 2000, the first song where the abstract mother butterfly dies and the baby goes on. Does it get in the way sometimes?

To me, violence is always a plus. But that's just me.

Re: Violence in Film

I recently saw a movie trailer for a film called The Misfits. It looks pretty interesting and has plenty of action scenes that will satisfy any action fan's needs. It is starring Pierce Brosnan, Tim Roth, and Nick Cannon. Here is a link if you are interested:

Re: Violence in Film

there's violence and there's VIOLENCE

the second is "personal"
most violence i see today is cartoonish, loud, and a lot of it making the violence something i can divorce myself from and i'm just watching on screen

AND THEN there's something like "i saw the devil" which was absolutely brutal!!!!!!!!!
