Demons of the Mind : I found it quite watchable…

Re: I found it quite watchable…
I found "Demons of the Mind" to be quite good as well. I thought the story was very quirky and compelling, the gloomy and melancholy atmosphere likewise hit the spot, and the cast was excellent. Robert Hardy, Patrick Magee, Yvonne Mitchell, Michael Hordern and Shane Briant in his strong film debut all gave fine performances. Moreover, as you already stated Gillian Hills was indeed very beautiful and touching as the frail Elisabeth.

yes it's very strange.
Re: I found it quite watchable…
Is it as strange as "Peter Potamus and the Bats of Mogfon"?

Re: I found it quite watchable…
Calm down you lot
Yes, the photography was v beauiful, very Hammer. Oddly though, I found it a bit disappointing. It goes nowehere, slowly, for too long in the first half and the story itself isn't anywhere near as clever as it's pitched, if you think about it - it's a bit obvious really. That said, I'm not judging it too harshly, as all the iconography that makes me love these films is present and correct.

okey-dokey
Re: I found it quite watchable…
As far as Hammer's horror, sci-fi, and psychological thrillers go, "Demons Of The Mind" would be placed toward the bottom of my list. I'm not saying it was terrible, but it wasn't nearly as strong or as entertaining as other Hammer entries.
Re: I found it quite watchable…
I found it quite boring
Re: I found it quite watchable…
I couldn't get into it I'm afraid

Re: I found it quite watchable…
It had atmosphere to spare, indeed, and overall I found it a fine addition to Hammers' catalogue of psychological thrillers.
What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

I found it quite watchable…
It was quite a good story. A bit of sex, a bit of nudity, a bit of violence. The movie also had atmosphere.
And Gillian Hills was so beautiful.
