How long are they on?

I think Belle is back on contract. Carrie and Austin are only back for 6 or 7 episodes (I think there's still 3 or 4 left). Not sure about Anna.

Actually "Martha Madison" is only back for short visit. Her and "Brandon Beemer" leave Salem together soon. They are no longer filming, for months now

I think Claire will be remaining behind in Salem again.

What was the point of Belle returning?

I think they brought her on to usher Shawn out again. In September, they were both written off. Martha's contract expired and was not renewed. But Brandon Beemer's contract still had a few more months left on it and Sony made the writers bring him back and use him. They were not going to just pay him for not working. So Shawn suddenly returned to Salem. Now they are using Martha on a recurring basis to write Shawn & Belle off again and give them their 'happy ending.'

These characters won't return unless the new headwriter decides to build a story that requires them.

I'd rather see any of these people rather than Eric. Why did they bring Eric back? What a useless character. Did they think by simply changing his hair and giving him a beard he's better now?
