A Snow Globe Christmas : Looks to be exactly like The Family Man

Just happened upon this about 2/3 of the way in and have only seen 10-15 minutes of it, and to me it looks like the exact same premise as The Family Man with Nick Cage. She's an executive, ends up with old sweetheart and 2 kids, even has some kind of "emergency" thing (forest and house demolition) happening on Christmas Day, and the daughter realizing she's not their real mom.

I guess there are just no new ideas anymore huh?

Actually there have been quite a few movies with that general theme since Family Man (a couple that follow it more closely) so I wouldn't exactly call it that. Well, I didn't immediately think of it personally. The first Snowglobe used the snow globe in a more unique way.

Well, The Family Man was just a new version of It's a Wonderful Life, so it's not like it's a new formula.

love this version way more than 2007but family dynamics sd have been different.albeit a "white" xmas

Plus it is like another Chistmas movie Comfort & Joy. It's one of my favorites.

Trying to watch this movie but having a hard time enjoying it. Some other actress besides Alicia Witt should have been cast.

I like Alicia Witt, but she just seemed awkward in the scenes we it the always great Donald Faison.
