If she has a severe nut allergy where just being around them can kill her, I'd imagine everyday life be fraught with peril. You couldn't go anywhere in case some nuts might be nearby. She must be exaggerating her condition.

I know some of you do not trust my links so here is the run down.
A woman with an ' airborne ' allergy to peanuts requested at the gate that the airline not serve nuts on the plane, to anyone at all. The gate staff took her down to speak to the cabin crew and they were all like ' we are contractually obligated to serve nuts ' and I am guessing the nut woman got on her high horse and talked about her rights and all that jazz, so the cabin crew kicked her off the flight.
