Full House : unwatchable cringe worthy annoying shit

unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

its one of those shows from your '80s childhood that you cant watch as an adult bc you cant get over how annoying everything is as in you cant tolerate how annoying everything is.

1. reason: michelle and her inane retarded and very played out and overused catch phrases. from you got it dude to her lips curled up looks.

2. her horrible intolerably annoying bad acting. i can take bad acting with almost any actor but her bad acting is so bad i cant take it. they shod have casted her bc she is atrocious with her acting both of them are.

sometimes you watch michelle and you see just how bad she is act acting and so awkward looking. she just like stares into space sometimes. i know she's just a child actor but as a person viewing something we all deserve much better than them.

The theme song is cringey, too. Everyone on the show is annoying imo

That is how everyone feels about you.

“Hera, grant me your fury, so I can remind my enemies I am not the weakness they perceive, I am the oncoming storm, I am war.”

I feel the same way about Facts of Life. Loved that show back in my teen years but I couldn't sit through more than a few minutes of it now. The theme song is still cool though.

I never watched a full episode of Full House but my niece loved that show, she was a little kid in the late 80s.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

i love that. so did you used to go to her house in the late '80s growing up?

the thing about tfol is as a kid i used to be bored by it when my sister used to watch it when i was growing up in the '80s bc lets face it it's a girl show but i started watching it again a few months ago on freevee a free streaming device and i was very intrigued and loved it bc i was watching the very beginning of it back in 1979 or 1980 and it was dramatically different than the way it was in the mid '80s.

it had this great campy camp site horror movie look and feel of early '80s slashers that was very pleasurable and comforting to me. which makes me want to watch more of the 1st season.

so don't write off this show bc of the way it is in the mid '80s.

do you like rob zombie movies like his remake of halloween or halloween 2? i guess a lot of people complained about him demystifying michael myers and making him more human and identifiable personality wise and giving him a face and childhood.

We lived in the same house for a while.

the thing about tfol is as a kid i used to be bored by it when my sister used to watch it when i was growing up in the '80s bc lets face it it's a girl show but i started watching it again a few months ago on freevee a free streaming device and i was very intrigued and loved it bc i was watching the very beginning of it back in 1979 or 1980 and it was dramatically different than the way it was in the mid '80s.

Yeah, the first season had more girls and I think "Jo" wasn't on the show yet. It was different than the later seasons but I think it had too many characters for its own good. I actually preferred it with just the four girls later on (Natalie, Tootie, Blair and Jo) because they were characters you learned to like and care about.

do you like rob zombie movies like his remake of halloween or halloween 2? i guess a lot of people complained about him demystifying michael myers and making him more human and identifiable personality wise and giving him a face and childhood.

I never saw Rob Zombie's Halloween films because I don't really like him as a filmmaker. I've seen House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects and that was enough. Only thing I liked about those films was Sid Haig and Karen Black.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

lol nice sarcasm about "american icon" oj.

exactly jo wasn't on it yet in 1979. also very oddly bc it's a weird, unknown fact: molly ringwald was on it in it's 1st season in 1979!

also i have to add this in it's 1st season there are 2 blond girls who are like the most beautiful girls ever. by the way i'm not talking about blair who by the way in the 1st season IS the most beautiful girl who has ever lived. also even the place they live at, this house with it's attic and very wooden walls is very early '80s slasher film looking and feeling. it is very cabin in the woods let's go camping looking and feeling that is essential to the early '80s slasher film.

not that they all have to have this but that they are the epitome of early '80s slashers. you can't tell the story of early '80s slasher films without these things. it's a hallmark.

i disagree bc i love those 2 blond girls who wrongly were taken off the show. also i prefer the campy camp site horror movie atmosphere which season 1 has more than the less campy camp site horror movie atmosphere that the mid '80s has.

wait i thought you said you don't like this show? you said you learned to like and care about the main characters?

and bill moseley and ken foree right?

you would love madman(1981). it is a great slasher film.

Make up your damn mind!!

Blair was pretty but I wouldn't say she's the most beautiful girl that ever lived. I forget what the other two blonde girls looked like.

wait i thought you said you don't like this show? you said you learned to like and care about the main characters?

I don't like watching it anymore but its characters were memorable and I did care about them back in the day. I cared about Family Ties and Kate & Allie back then, too. Times change, priorities change.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

i said like so that means not quite the most beautiful girl who has ever lived.

okay then who was more beautiful than blair back in '80s tv? chrissy or terri or cindy from my three's company or mallory from family ties? or simone, the redhead on head of the class?

I liked Mallory in the early seasons of Family Ties. Teenage crush and all. I never watched Head of the Class. I never liked any of the chicks on Three's Company in a romantic way. That said, Janet and Cindy were the two prettiest ones.

I preferred the brunette daughter on Kate & Allie over all of the above though. My tastes have never been typical.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

yeah you're the guy who really loves fairuza balk. she always looked like a punk rock girl from the '80s to me i mean even when she was not playing a girl like this she looks this way to me.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

Sounds familiar. I've probably seen it.

and bill moseley and ken foree right?

Yeah, Ken Foree (Peter in Dawn of the Dead) is iconic.

Bill Moseley? You mean, Chop Top in TCM2?… Meh, I prefer Edwin Neal (The Hitchhiker) in the original TCM. He's iconic, too.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

then reason i said ken foree and bill moseley is bc they are both in the film we talked about, the devil's rejects. so did you love them in the devil's rejects?

exactly chop top in tcm2.

if you look at rob zombie's casts in his movies he always casts a **** load of famous horror actors who were memorable in celebrated classic horror films made in the '70s.

gosh damn his halloween remake has so many famous old time horror film icons like PJ Soles, brad dourif, malcolm mcdowell, danielle harris, etc. and his the devil's rejects has sid haig, bill moseley, leslie easterbrook who has not been in a movie since the '80s? so it's so weird he casted her, william forsythe the guy who played the villain in out for justice, and even freaking ginger lynn allen, the porn star.

he always has odd, quirky casting choices and he brings these old actors back ala quentin tarantino bc he brings loads of old actors people haven't seen in a movie in a long time.

madman starts out at a campfire where the counselors sing this old, cryptic, folk like monster song, a creepy song that scares the little kids. it takes place in the fall around thanksgiving and the kids there are special kids so mentally or physically challenged kids.

the villain is a half man, half beast kind of looks like sasquatch. so they sing this urban legend song about the villain who lives in a house right by where they are but they don't think he is really alive. it is based on the new york legendary story that is also in the slasher film the burning.

it is a really cool and fun slasher film that feels a lot like an early friday they 13th film.

now do you remember watching it?

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

I don't even remember them being in it. It's been over a decade since I watched that film and I didn't particularly enjoy it.

Yeah, he cashes in on nostalgia. That's his shtick.

now do you remember watching it?

No, but it's possible that I did see it. There are so many generic 80's slasher films that I've seen and forgotten about for the most part. Gaylen Ross (Dawn of the Dead, Creepshow) was in it, right? I remember watching a slasher film with her in it.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

exactly gaylen ross from dawn of the dead is in madman.

so knowing she is in it now, did you watch madman?

she went by the name alexis dubin in madman not gaylen ross for some reason?

i hate her for being so egotistical and pretentious and full of herself not ever talking about madman in the last 20 or so years. she freaking goes to horror movie conventions and signs autographs for dawn of the dead yet if you ever bring up madman with her there she haughtily, flippantly, arrogantly moves to the next subject, she has refused to talk about this film for some reason? she is rude about the subject of this film being brought up with her at these conventions which is so wrong, she should be respecting to her fans of this film.

she has disowned this film which is not right bc it's a good slasher film it is very well made technically. it is not a poorly made b movie, no one would be ashamed to have been a part of it. it is one of the best slasher films i have ever watched and it has developed a cult following. the villain actor has been approached by a fan of the film and he still has fan connections with this film.

it has been well documented the disdain and hatred gaylen ross has for this film.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

i'ts not shtick bc zombie is a huge horror movie fan, the most devoted and devout horror movie fan of all time. he even named his band after a horror movie; white zombie.

so he is a huge fan of these films that is why he always casts iconic, big star actors from '70s horror films in his films. the problem is he wants so bad to be a legendary horror movie director yet his films are not great.

lukejbarnett

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

he even named his band after a horror movie; white zombie.

Yeah, I know. A lot of great bands took their names from movies: Black Sabbath, Mudhoney, The Damned, Flesh Eaters, Misfits, Babes in Toyland, My Bloody Valentine, etc.

There was a horror punk band from Ohio called the Manimals that had a song called "White Zombie" from way back in 1985 before Rob Zombie started his band. The song is a tribute to the Lugosi film.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

don't forget about faster pussycat. it's weird that not 1 but 2 bands have been named after russ meyer films.

there is not ****ing way that the incredibly stupid, hokey corny and cheesy babes in toyland movie with keanu reeves and drew barrymore is where the band got their name. are you sure that is true? if so then obviously they did it as a joke bc no person forming a band would want to be known by a dumb ass children's movie title like this movie.

i refused to like my bloody valentine bc of their name. no band from the '00s to now can take that name bc i love that film and bc no band that started from the '00s to now can be a great band.

Babes in Toyland were an all female grunge/alternative band. The name fit their image. I think they took their name from the original Laurel and Hardy film Babes in Toyland, not the later versions. The original film is considered a classic.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

George Clooney was in some episodes of The Facts of Life too.

Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world, I feel like I can't take it, and my heart is just going to cave in.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

For once I agree with you.

The only poster who had his account banned 4 times without ever breaking any rules each of those times.

Re: unwatchable cringe worthy annoying ****

No idea why you thought anyone here would be interested to hear you whine about that ****, but okay.

Have you ever thought about the fact that you should be so far beyond even THINKING about that show that it is a non-issue?

You just like to whine. That's your entire reason for coming here.
