I've always thought of Audrey as Belgian, but mostly by birth. She does have some English ancestry through her father and had a Dutch mother. She did live in London for a time. She spoke five languages fluently.

exactly me too. even more than marilyn monroe she somehow seemed like an alien or angel or otherworldly superhuman person. she didn't seem real. she seemed to perfect to be real and she talked different than any actress i've ever heard talk.

America's SWEETHEART was Shirley Temple back during the 30s and 40s. NOWADAYS it's 98 year-old Betty White. Audrey Hepburn was NEVER America's SWEETHEART. She's nice though.
