Men in Black II : Why are the headlights covered

Why are the headlights covered

When J and K arrive in the mercedes to the newstand, where they meet with that ugly dog, you can see the headlights of the car covered, like in gray, i've seen this in other movies, as well with other cars , some times they cover the windshield, i dont believe this is because of the reflections as the headlights are too small , but really i dont know.

Re: Why are the headlights covered

The lens are just glazed over to keep the high intensity Xenon bulbs from over saturating the camera with too much light. Have you ever been driving down the road and a car comes up over a hill or around a corner, then hits a dip or hump in the road and the front of the car comes up and the headlights get real bright? They are designed to only shine down enough to see the road without blinding on coming traffic. I installed and adjusted those things when I worked for Nissan. If you got down to the level of the headlamp, it was like looking at a welding rod.

ugly dog?

Ugly dog?? That was a Mops (Pug), one of the loveliest heart warming dog breeds you can think of. :3

Or as the great German comedian, humorist, cartoonist, film director, actor and writer Loriot once said:

Ein Leben ohne Mops ist möglich, aber sinnlos.

A life without a pug is possible, but senseless.

Re: Why are the headlights covered

Well, since you apparently hallucinated an entire scene where "J and K arrive in the mercedes to the newstand, where they meet with that ugly dog" then perhaps you also hallucinated covers on the headlights.

Re: Why are the headlights covered

He simply confused the first movie with the second. No need to be a dick about it.

Re: Why are the headlights covered

There is no scene in the first movie where "J and K arrive in the mercedes to the newstand, where they meet with that ugly dog".

There is a scene in the first movie where J and K arrive at a locksmith in the Ford P.O.S. where they meet with that adorable dog but you never see the headlights.
