Music General : What is Sean Lennon's best song?

What is Sean Lennon's best song?

I read part of an article that praised him for juggling a lot of projects and having a pretty girlfriend. He has his solo work and various collaborations including with his mom and another with his girlfriend and others including movie soundtracks I guess. But everything I have heard from him sounds like throwaway songs that real musicians would never release. Sort of bad Elliot Smith rip-offs, who was noted for his Beatles influence. So he was second-hand ripping off his dad. He didn't think we'd notice. His girlfriend is pretty though.

I don't really care for his songs but Julian's are better than Sean's. Julian had a couple hits. Kind of sounded like his dad. He had a platinum album and then a gold and two top ten songs. Sean's albums and songs don't even register. His discography doesn't merit its own Wikipedia page. He has no musical talent but is probably smart with numbers like his mom. She was a lousy artist but a good steward of the Lennon fortune. Her dad was a rich banker. Steve Jobs gave Sean an original Macintosh in 1984. Jobs probably knew this kid was going to try to emulate his father so tried to steer him toward his true path. He should have gone into software. He could have been a Silicon Valley billionaire rather than a wastrel son of a murdered Beatle. He has just managed to barely tread water in the music industry with the help of the Lennon name and the billion dollars behind it. Jobs should have given Sean a job at Apple.

Yoko has released more good songs than Sean.

Anyway, I guess his best song is "Parachute", but it's not good.

Which song by Sean Lennon is his best?…

"THAT'S SOME BAD SHIT, HARRY!".

Re: What is Sean Lennon's best song?

I have no idea. All I know is that one song Sean made during the 80s and how cute he looked. I was like, wow.🤩🤩 That's John and Yoko's son!

Re: What is Sean Lennon's best song?

He doesn't have one because he's a joke just like his mother.

Re: What is Sean Lennon's best song?

I'm not familiar with Sean Lennon's work. You should post a good example. I've only heard Julian Lennon's "Too Late for Goodbyes" and though it's not a song I would own, it's a great tribute to his father and a bittersweet paean to their awkward relationship. I commend Julian for being able to pull that off.

I'm also one of the few people on earth who consider Yoko Ono to be a great artist. Lol. Her work was always intended as avant garde, not for general pop consumption.
