Star Trek: The Next Generation : What happens if The Borg traveled to another Galaxy using Transwarp?

What happens if The Borg traveled to another Galaxy using Transwarp?

That might be a bad thing for the Cosmos and the galaxy itself, if The Borg were able to learn how to break through the Galactic Barrier that Kirk and The Enterprise encountered in TOS and send several Borg Cubes at Transwarp speeds to several of the closest Galaxies.

Transwarp travel is so fast that it allows anyone using to travel across the entire galaxy instantly in seconds, traveling across the universe itself to another galaxy might only take a few minutes, hours or days, months at the longest, a Borg Cubes arrives and enters the other galaxy to explore and assimilate species to add to its their perfection, gaining different and far more advanced technology easily, they then use this technology to assimilate most of the Milky Way Galaxy and a couple other galaxies.

Would really suck for the Universe if The Borg broke through the Galactic Barrier and were able to arrive in other galaxies, nobody would be able to stop them easily.

Species 8472 was the exception because of their biology and bio ships which made them hard to defeat and assimilate and harder to kill, most species are as weak and frail as Humans and would fall quickly, even the Kelvans would get assimilated very easily.

That would be a great plotline. It would be good in a movie.

Re: What happens if The Borg traveled to another Galaxy using Transwarp?

What if they used the Stargate???

Re: What happens if The Borg traveled to another Galaxy using Transwarp?

Don't the Borg already use Transwarp though ?

I know that they use Transwarp Hubs.
