Also, this article lists online portals for many states. I searched for my name and relatives' names using the portal for my state and there were no results, so it may not work for you either.

There are sites and email addresses here too.

Re: Were you vaccinated against polio?

You probably were.

Vaccine mandates for child care and schools vary by state. All require vaccines that protect against polio, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, measles and rubella, according to the Immunization Action Coalition (IAC), a vaccine education and advocacy organization. Nearly all states require vaccines that protect against mumps, chickenpox, hepatitis B and pneumococcal disease.

Vaccines that aren't widely required by states include ones for the flu, hepatitis A, rotavirus and HPV, according to IAC. The U.S. stopped routine vaccination for smallpox – which has been eradicated globally – in the 1970s.

Yep.

Yes, this is really me.

Re: Were you vaccinated against polio?

I'm pretty sure I got mine on a sugar cube.

Re: Were you vaccinated against polio?

I don't know, but wish I did. Have a baby book my mom made when I was younger that showed all my childhood vaccinations, but I have no idea where it is.

I know for a fact I wasn't vaccinated against Smallpox though because my older sister had a bad reaction to the vaccine and my mom was afraid of me having the same.

Re: Were you vaccinated against polio?

A lot of people in the US didn't get the smallpox vaccine.

Routine vaccination of the American public against smallpox stopped in 1972 after the disease was eradicated in the United States.

I don't know why they thought eradication in the US meant nobody from other countries could bring it here.
