Pretty much shows the FBI are a bunch of idiots. After they got the Olympic bombing wrong they went after Bill & Monica. Then they got the anthrax attacks wrong. The only reason they got the Unabomber is because his brother turned him in. Maybe they've improved since then….I doubt it.

Mean people suck.

As retired federal investigator it was my experience that most crimes are solved because an insider spills the beans.

You were a federal investigator? Did you ever know of any cases like this where the FBI implicated the wrong person? If so, were any ever convicted?

They claimed in the movie that it was Atlanta-Constitutional reporter, Kathy Scruggs, that said: "That fat fuck that lives with his mother. Of course, it was him." Whether that was true or not. People have denied she had sex with FBI for info, though.
