Night Skies : Unanswered Questions!

Unanswered Questions!

Okay, so there is the often asked but never answered question of WHICH PARTS of this story were true?

One can obviously tell the parts that were embellished for the sake of entertainment. But I would like to know exactly what was fact about any of this - besides the fact that lights were seen by many people in the skies of Arizona in 1997. Is there anything ELSE about this movie that is true?

I also couldn't help but notice the similarities between this story and that of "Fire in the Sky". Especially the slimy organic matter that seemed to hold abductees hostage. Could it be a safe assumption that this movie was... "inspired" by that story?

The bottom line for me is - I love true stories. SO LONG AS THEY ARE TRUE! I feel that this film, however entertaining it was, was much too over the top for me to take it seriously. "Fire in the Sky" to me, was way more believable. No flagrant boobs hanging out, no overdone, predictable story of the girl who doesn't get to tell her man she's pregnant, not to mention the fact that these aliens - who should be of superior intelligence - can't even get into the motor home.

Last but not least, if Richard's story is true - even partially... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REST OF THEM?! If this is a true story then where are the conclusions to the other FIVE people in this movie??! If he says they existed - then are there missing persons reports? For Christ's sake - conclude them SOME HOW. Even to say they were never found. But to not even address them at the end leaves me feeling ripped off and implies that the writer might thing his audience would never notice. Duh.

Anyhow, i'm fairly certain that the above will be nothing short of rhetorical questions, but it would be interesting to see if anyone has answers or even agrees with me on this!

That's my rant!

PS... Contrary to my negative feedback... the movie wasn't bad! I was actually kinda scared (at times. Mind you I was home alone, in the dark, with no curtains on my windows). But just don't fool me into thinking it was true.

Ok now I'm really done. If anyone even read this epic comment.

Re: Unanswered Questions!

I doubt the story in this movie is true, but there have been many, many different terrifying stories of alien abductions. Too many to dismiss altogether.

Re: Unanswered Questions!

The sighting of 'The Phoenix Lights' is an incident that did occur in March 1997. An object (or objects) was spotted over Phoenix Arizona (looking as they were depicted in the movie). Over the years several explanations have attempted to explain this event.

I have found no evidence to support any of the events surrounding the characters in the movie.

I think this is a fictional story incorporating documented cases from cases off people who claim to have been abducted. This is possibly based on the 'Hopkinsville Goblins' case of 1955.
