It's been a dreary day here too 😒 Jury duty sounds exciting though. I've never done it and I can't imagine the French courts will ever want an English bozo like me to do it so I guess I'm in the clear for that 😅

I was supposed to be there at 8:am. Showed up late at 8:30. Huge line of people.
"Is there anyone here for jury duty?..raise your hand" So I did. "We already have enough people today" she took my paper work and said go home.
Nice!
Of course I'm didn't tell my job. I want the full day off. They think I'm still there😁.
A few years ago they called me every year but I always got out of it by acting crazy etc.
You'd be a cool bozo to have in any court.🤡
Im sure some cases would be interesting if you could afford to have the time off work.

I'm glad it went good for you, I got royally screwed when I went for jury duty
The asshole that worked in the bookstore didn't want to work, she was a lazy good for nothing, so I ended up going into work after jury duty

That's why I always try to take a photo to prove I'm in jury duty. Even if I'm not there anymore. Haha.

Yeah the manager where I worked didn't give a rat's ass that I was at jury duty she still asked me to work
I should have just told her to close the bookstore, it doesn't do that good of business anyway

Well, I don't know about your state but in Texas that's a crime. Haha.
In fact they called me to go in in August and I emailed them lying telling them I had COVID. I was hoping that would be the end of it but no….
"No problem we'll just reschedule you for November."

Yeah they try to intimidate you but do they really follow through with all those people that don't show up?
