My ex used to struggle with red and green like he would get them mixed up or something. Somehow his brain couldn't process which colour was which.

I'm so sorry to hear that 😟 That must be awful for everyone but so frustrating for him. I hadn't heard of it before but I was just reading up on it. So sad 😢

The brain knows what it wants to say but it gets lost coming out. They get words confused, thoughts confused. He had few words he could say. He would mix them up and get so upset. It is horrible. I would not wish it on anyone.

He lived through a major stroke for 20 years. Never got his speech back but maybe 20 words. He knew what he WANTED to say but could not get it out. Kinda trapped in your own mind, ya know?

Yeah. He had very limited speech to begin with. I was his caretaker, so I understood most of what he said. He had his own sign language. He was a very animated soul.
