What if Warner Bros. said to him, we'll get the Viking project up and running for you if you direct SS2...?

Traitor? I seem to remember this was about to go into production when a certain someone engineered a rug pull. The consequence was that Lame ass Leo walked away. And then a pretty good TV series came out. Think of it this way. If he gets back in the good graces and does thing for the folks who have hung in with him (warners), he might get to do what you want.
