Black Mirror : Should I watch the episodes 1 by 1?

Should I watch the episodes 1 by 1?

The concept of Season 1 episode 3 - about your entire memory being recorded is awesome.
However, I do not seem interested in the first episode, where someone gets kidnapped.

So, the question is, is it like any other series, where you have to watch all the episodes one after another to not miss any developments of the story?

Re: Should I watch the episodes 1 by 1?

I just bounced around to begin with because some of them sounded cooler than the others. Once I watched those, then I just went in order. Didn't really matter because I ended up binging the whole series in about a week. Why does it always happen this way? 😂

Re: Should I watch the episodes 1 by 1?

so there is no connection between episodes, right? i can watch them from the end to the beginning if i want? :P

Re: Should I watch the episodes 1 by 1?

I spotted a couple very minor connections between episodes. There was a random tv show that was mentioned in two episodes. Nothing important.

You might as well just watch them in order.

Re: Should I watch the episodes 1 by 1?

Every episode is a self-contained story in a different setting with different characters. There are no episodes that give any context to a later episode, so you can watch them in any order you like.

No problem, enjoy the series. :-)

Yes. Trying to watch them all concurrently will make your brain explode.

And it would take a lot of TVs!

"Oh, I'll be polite. Right up until I'm rude."

Re: Should I watch the episodes 1 by 1?

I had never seen the show, until I binged all 3 seasons in a little over a *beep* with my head for like 2 weeks.

Re: Should I watch the episodes 1 by 1?

The official way to watch it, is... watch 1/2 of 1 episode from Season 1... then watch the 2nd half of a Season 2 epsiode. After every 4 episodes, then you can go back and finish the other half of the episode you watched the first half to.

The 3rd season, each episode should be enjoyed in 3rd's... And so on... pretty straight forward.
