Re: Series One out on DVD

I have the dvd's does anyone else think they edited out scenes? When the show goes off you see different scenes like bronson's first day of school when he's up in front of the class.

Re: Series One out on DVD

Unfortunately I can't quite remember it in detail from when I watched it as a kid :( but are you sure? In that case the original episodes must have been longer.

Re: Series One out on DVD

it was the original, and the best.

I loved the 'Santa Claws' ep, 'The Gum Leaf War' and 'Spaghetti Pigout' (the last one mentioned only for the Atari 400/800 (can't remember which) that Bronson has programmed to measure Pete's chewing rate...
and of course 'Skeleton on the Dunny'.

I kinda wonder sometimes what an American actress (such as the one listed in my sig) would have done with the role of Linda, would have been pretty interesting to see for example, Natalie Gregory playing Linda.

I wish I had been an extra in any of Natalie Gregory's work.

True, but still it would have been interesting to see.

Re: Series One out on DVD

probably filming 'Wait for Spring, Bandini' I'd guess,

but it would have been hilarious to see her in 'Santa Claws' after having her makeup done by Matron Gribble staring at a scruffy guy who thinks he's Santa but looks nothing like him... I'd grin as I stopped, put down the TV I was carrying and sat on the top as a little 6 year old (had I been alive then) and watched the whole show, then wandered up to Santa Claws and asked him for a VHS player for Christmas.

Re: Series One out on DVD

Haha I don't think I've ever heard an American do a good Australian accent. The way they portray it is definitely not the way we sound.
