James Bond : Sean Connery is the only actor to have a successful movie career after 007
Re: Sean Connery is the only actor to have a successful movie career after Bond
Pierce Brosnan went on to start in a movie with Jackie Chan. He‘a busy with politics now anyway (he’s the leader of Sinn Fein).

Starring as James Bond kills an actor's career. Stop making those movies.🙄

He would hardly be starring in Jackie Chan Netflix movies if his career was dead .

Most didn't have much of a career before playing James Bond. I think Daniel Craig can have a decent career after Bond. He has already branched out with Knives Out and there is a sequel on the way.

Well the Sean Connery Bond movies were highly regarded and insanely popular, which is why he was able to have a successful career after he left the franchise. A lot of people didn’t exactly care for the Roger Moore ones, the Timothy Dalton ones were mostly forgotten about, and Pierce Brosnan’s Bond movies were largely panned with the exception of GoldenEye, and that’s why those guys didn’t have much success post-007. And Sean Connery’s post-Bond career was given a huge boost when he won the Oscar for The Untouchables which started a late-career Renaissance for him which is why he was staring in shit like Hunt for Red October, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and The Rock.
Daniel Craig’s Bond movies are insanely popular, and mostly well received, and he’s been making a lot of great movies outside the James Bond franchise and already has another franchise that he’ll be the focal point of for a while with Knives Out.
I live. I die. I live again.

I noticed all the other actors who've played James Bond/007, their careers didn't go very far afterwards. They would make a couple of midly successful movies after retiring from playing in those Bond movies. Then that was it. The rest of their careers are filled with mediocre films.
