I know right? A psychologist would tell me that I actually care a lot and my actions are merely a mask to hide some other underlying pain I'm experiencing. Maybe Sophie reminds me of somebody I once knew in a past life. Maybe I regret how our friendship soured and I'm acting out in some form of nihilistic self-judgement. Or maybe I actually don't have her on ignore at all and I'm just fucking with her because it's fuckin hilarious.

Well, tbh, drama is my chief interest too. It's just kinda embarrassing to admit to it given what I do for a living and given that TWDers like Bee and Horatio (whom I respect) take such a dim view of incessant shit-stirring.

There are really two ways of viewing filmboards and depending on which way you decide to view it, your experience is ridiculously altered.

There's the drama free aspect wherein you choose to post here because you like certain people. Sure there are horrible trolls who get in the way but if you avoid them it can be a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Trolling is pathetic and people who partake in it are losers.

Then there's the trolling aspect wherein you post here because trolling is fun and anybody that posts here to make friends or discuss random shit is a loser and needs to get out more. A social life is meant for the real world and not the internet. There is nothing interesting to do here except fuck with people.

I fall into the second category and I'm unapologetically honest about it. There are rare anomalies who manage the fall into a central position who are able to fall between both categories however.

Good distinction. I enjoy my occasional genuinely civilized discussions with Corwin, Bee and a few others; but I doubt that would keep me satisfied. Maybe I'm just a bloodthirsty cyber-thug, but I really enjoy the sessions where a dozen howling morons come after me and I keep them irritated and snapping at my heels for days on end. I defend myself from the charge of sadism by telling myself that fools must be schooled for their own good, but I'm not entirely convinced. Tormenting people can be fun. It's sad, but true.

I'm just going to say that posting titles in all caps (or mostly in caps) is a sure-fire way to lose my attention.

Yes, that's like a man screaming at you non-stop. I like posts that have innocuous thread-titles and dangerously incendiary contents.

of course, i don't click on every post ever made on Filmboards. i read those posts that seem interesting to me, but i don't decide which one to click on by who made it. very often i dismiss a post at first bc the topic didn't raise my interest, but would get back to it after it got a lot of replies which usually indicates that there is an interesting conversation going on or a hilarious fight i don't wanna miss out on. u only know it when u read it. those posters or socks i certainly don't want to read are on my block list.

Very democratic and nice! I have to admit that some posters make me want to run into the desert and never see human beings again. But then again, there are posters who almost never disappoint me, like Corwin.
