Re: Max Headroom.

I liked him, but he was one weird dude.

Re: Max Headroom.

I remember it, however briefly. Pretty cool for the time. Now we’re seeing it come to pass, with deep fake technology.

Sure do

Re: Max Headroom.

Yeah, but it got kind of boring after a while.

😺 Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't. 🤨 Let's go, Brandon! 🤨 Try that in a small town.

Re: Max Headroom.

He's the lest interesting character in history. Boring.

Re: Max Headroom.

Great band. Have you seen them live? They're fantastic!

Re: Max Headroom.

No, never seen them. For some reason the pirate Max Headroom vid reminded me of Residents though.

Re: Max Headroom.

I can see why.

When corona passes I hope you get a chance to catch one of their shows. They're so very different from everybody else, and quite creepy live.

Re: Max Headroom.

If it ever passes. This is dragging on and on. Even after it's under control, it will take years for people to get back to normal.

I'm not generally a conspiracy theorist, but it's quite possible this is being used by governments to enforce isolation and prevent dissent. Look how fear was used in the media to try and break up the recent protests.

Re: Max Headroom.

I hope not. I'm really missing proper live music.

Re: Max Headroom.

I was lucky enough to see The Residents live twice!

The first time the band that opened for them was. . .damn, I can't remember what the guy's name was. He died in his 30's in the 80's and was an associate of theirs, put out one great CD, and I was very lucky to see him before he passed away. It's driving me crazy that I can't remember the name of his band.

EDIT: emailed a friend about it and the warm up guy's band was called Snakefinger.

Re: Max Headroom.

They played here a few years ago and they were absolutely amazing.

Wow, I wish I could have seen Snakefinger.
