One, Two, Three : Location of Berlin Coca Cola Plant??

Location of Berlin Coca Cola Plant??

Does anyone know the address of the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Berlin? This location was also used in the German movie "Good-Bye Lenin." I am trying to find out were it is(was) and if it is still standing or has been torn down.

Re: Location of Berlin Coca Cola Plant??

Hi stetrick!

I'm from Berlin and while I do not have the address I do know that it was filmed on location at the actual Coca Cola bottling plant Berlin which at the time belonged to one Mr. Winter. Mr. Winter's son went on to found the largest Audi car dealer in the Berlin metropolitan area called "Eduard Winter". Thus it came to be that the former bottling plant is now the "Audi Center Berlin", basically an Audi flagship store with a rather large showroom.

So yes, the building is still standing, but it has been heavily converted. The trademark "transparent production line" which can be seen in the movie, where one used to be able to watch the workers through large windows, is still recognizable. There is a sign telling visitors about the building's history (though lamentably not about this great movie).

Hope I could help!

Just checked the address on google maps...you can actually see the steps up to the entrance!! heheheh...

What a great find!! Thanks to you all for identifying the address!

Re: Location of Berlin Coca Cola Plant??

That is not the correct address. The Coca Cola plant is located at

Hildburghauser Straße 224
12209 Berlin, Germany

The building looks like it has been abandoned but it is the one from the film.

Google street view is up for Berlin you can get a great view at this link.
