Wow that's a great collection of photos. I have always been a fan of movie models. But there is something extra cool about seeing people working on a model while wearing scuba gear.

Until some years ago you could see the life-sized rig on Google Earth inside the tank at the nuclear power station. I remember searching the area around Gaffney step by step until I found it, because I had no coordinates. The rig has be removed and scrapped in 2007 because there are plans to build a new nuclear power station on the site.

Wow, I love the hard work of model work. This is fascinating. Seeing the scale of the Explorer was totally impressive.
