After Toby says "Oh my God, Scooby! I'm so sorry! I'm so, so sorry!"

Re: Last words spoken by Scooby

I saw the ending but i was confused i wasn't reaqlly sure what happened, did his entire family die or was it jusst his brother, i think i missed something but i'm not really sure.

Re: Last words spoken by Scooby

His whole family died. Remember when Consuelo sneaks into the house and turns on the gas oven, after she was fired? The whole family (minus Scooby) was either asphyxiated by the gas fumes, or their house exploded when someone lit a match. Consuelo was pissed that she got fired for no reason, so she killed them.

Re: Last words spoken by Scooby

thanks i thought i missed something I remember seeing her walk away and thought she had done something. It was such a sad movie. well the non-fiction section was, i thought they should have just mad non-fiction the entire movie because i thought fiction was crap. but thanks

Re: Last words spoken by Scooby

Yeah, i prefer the "Fiction" segment as well. The "Non-Fiction" segment was originally supposed to be longer and more fleshed-out, with more characters and stuff, but it got cut. I think it was probably a lot better in it's original form.

Re: Last words spoken by Scooby

Good call. Consuelo wasn't from Mexico. I forget where she said she was from, it could have been El Salvador, but it wasn't Mexico.

Coinicidentially, the only other notable role i can think of her in is in the Solondz-esque Chuck&Buck.

Re: Last words spoken by Scooby

I remember her (Lupe Ontiveros) fondly from "The Goonies" - she played Rosalita, the maid the Walshes got to help them clean up the house ... she was also in many other films like "As Good As It Gets" (as Greg Kinnear's maid), "Real Women Have Curves" (as the main character's mother), & "Selena" (as Yolanda Saldivar, the woman who murdered Selena).
