I usually only bring them out when I have a party or have guests over. I usually put a doily on the charger and serve some sort of pastry or dessert on it. You can get doilies at target or dollar tree

I haven't used chargers in years. My ex and I used to entertain (a few exes ago), and only on those occasions.
It's pretty cool what you can find at the Dollar Store.
