Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

I mean, it’s shit and all, but:

- I get almost 2 hours extra in bed.
- I wear a tracksuit to work.
- I can go for a run during the day. I even go to my PT twice a week during the day, which would never be normally achievable.
- I don’t have to use public transport at all.
- I can legit just fire up fifa at any point of the day, though granted I’m usually too busy.
- I’ve learned to cook again.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

I got into cooking again as well, and I managed to tackle the house room by room and get rid of a ton a crap I didn't need.

:) hello…

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

I like this, focusing on the positive!

I've got to spend a lot of time with my family. Trying to keep everyone entertained has lead to some pretty fun times.

I had more time to pick up old hobbies, started practicing the guitar again. I made an embroidery thing of Cher.

Not being able to go to my normal hangouts has helped me find new hangouts and get into nature more.

And I've had more time to chill with you awesome peeps!

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

I started playing my drums again, but I blew out of steam. I almost moved my guitars into a position ready to play them, but I haven’t quite got to it 🤪

After a long day, all I can really achieve is working out and PlayStation/Netflix binging.

I wish I’d spent like 20 mins a day in lockdown on guitar.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

I still suck big time but hey! At least we're trying lol

Working out is plenty enough anyway. I've seen a lot of people complaining about their quarantine bodies lol

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

What guitar level are you? I can do some Green Day and Oasis, and that’s your lot

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

That's really awesome! I can do just basic stuff, i was teaching myself gun street girl by tom waits cause it's only two chords lol. I told you i suck! And I'm learning this one, i like when she sings in french but I'm sure i butcher it big time

I can sloppy half play a few other things but i have a hard time. I'm definitely not naturally gifted with music thangz

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

You have to remember that a bunch of little girls can become pros, so there’s no excuse. You have their Mexican blood!

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

That's so badass!! Yeah, they're way better than me lol. I love how much they're into it too. Definitely inspiring, thanks!

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Look them up on YouTube - The Warning.

I randomly discovered them because their songs are in the game rockband, which is how they learned to play.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Rockband’s actually really cool. It taught me how to play drums

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Lol that's so cool though. I'm going to look for rockband. I think I'd like it. I have a little guitar app on my phone and have been using the little games to practice but rockband would probably be better

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Let me make you feel a tiny bit better: the EU has not handled all this pandemic stuff well, and BREXIT therefore arguably looks less reckless than before.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Let's forget I said anything. This thread is supposed to be a ray of positivity in an otherwise bleak, dark winter.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Lol! Cheers.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Haven't worn a suit in a year.
Have done a workday from the cottage.
Have worked drinking a beer.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Lockdown completely stopped my midweek drinking. I strive to avoid midweek drinking, but generally at least once or twice a week there were lots of pints after work. Tbh, the best part of London is the pubs and vibrancy.

I knew if it continued in lockdown I would be a Paul Gascoigne level alcoholic. In the last year, I haven’t drank once on a midweek night, aside from wrestlemania last year, and holidays.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Learned how to dye my roots and not have to spend money or go to the salon every month. Although I do need to go back again eventually.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Get to attend meetings with serious types while wearing sweatpants and sporting hair down to my shoulders.
I've probably shaved four times in a whole year.
I eat well for every meal.
No commute to the office or to suppliers.
Saved money on expensive vacations.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Nope. I didn't enjoy any part of lockdown what so ever.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Our serious lockdown literally only lasted a month this time last year but in the past year I’ve….

-spent way more time outdoors running, hiking, fishing, kayaking, swimming, lounging about on the water getting blasted
-cooked more than usual, eating way better than usual
-saved money on not going to bars, restaurants
-been to some awesome house parties (they’re better than the bars imo)
-had sex with a goat
-played a lot more golf

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

I have a pretty badass work at home setup with very nice standing desk and multiple monitors overlooking a busy street in downtown. I stand at it without pants on in full view of the city below.

I'm cumming.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

My new wfh chair finally arrived from Singapore the other day.

£350 and I just had to have it when I saw ‘The Special One’ had one.

It’s so comfy 🤤😂

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

Your cameras have been hacked, and your kettle balls as well.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?

I have enjoyed the noticeably smaller number of tourists coming in and out of the state.

Hark! Harold the angel sings.

Re: Have you enjoyed any aspects of lockdown?
