Mr. Robot : Does the 2nd season get better?

Does the 2nd season get better?

Just finished the 1st season, and while I thought it was decent, the main thing that annoyed me was Elliot and his fake/real visions. I practically got lost at some points not knowing what was real or not.

Does this continue in the 2nd season?

Re: Does the 2nd season get better?

It's actually a constant theme for the entire season. My guess is you won't like it.

No. Pass it

Re: Does the 2nd season get better?

Season 2 is really slow and... I dunno, a bit more artsy or something I can't pinpoint. It's a vastly different feel, and I'm not sure why. The music, editing, cinematography, all a different vibe.

Im on episode 6 of season 2 and I'm still digging it, but it lost some charm from the 1st season.

I really enjoyed Elliot discovering Adderall, though. Really funny stuff, and I wish they kept it going for a few episodes. It was nice seeing him act outgoing and social. And also as some one that suffers social anxiety, it made it even more hilarious because I was just as excited as he was when I first tried it so i could totally haha.

I'll be honest. If you weren't into season 1 there's a very good chance you may fall asleep during season 2. Not much really happened til the last part.

Re: Does the 2nd season get better?

Yeah the 2nd season goes overboard with the real vs. fake stuff. At some point I have to ask myself what the purpose of having me watch stuff that doesn't happen is. I still liked season 2 but if you didn't like the fake vision stuff then it will definitely take some enjoyment out of season 2.

Re: Does the 2nd season get better?

Season 2 was overly pretentious and boring as *beep* at times. If you didn't like season 1 much you probably won't like season 2 at all.
