It's my FAVORITE Die Hard film, and my FAVORITE action flick of ALL-TIME!!!

It and the first film ARE the ONLY two good (actually GREAT) films in the series. #3 even though by the same director as the first…is a BORING and DULL
fest in comparison to 1 and 2. I guess a lot of film goers DON'T CARE for ACTION in an action flick?!?

I would say Die Hard 2 is the second worst Die Hard with the 5th still being the worst, and I didn't like 2 as much.
I know movies are allowed to have plot holes, but I think there are two plot holes in it that just may be too big, such as why didn't the planes just try to arrange to land at other airports, instead if being told to hold in the air all night and run out of fuel?
Or instead of the terrorists using blanks to try to fool McClane, Lorenzo and the other airport police, why just not shoot McClane, Lorenzo and the airport police since they wouldn't be expecting to be gunned down by the marines?
Those are pretty big plot holes to swallow in my opinion. Also, bringing back Dick Thornberg I think was a huge mistake because not only is it a really dumb coincidence for him to be brought back, he is also a very annoying character who doesn't have anything to serve the plot with at all.
But that is just my take it on it, as it feels like an inferior rehash of the first movie.
