Not complaining though. His and Depp's performances were amazing. But did anyone else just not understand anything he said like 70% of the time? Helps make the film that much more of a mind *beep* and weird.

Look at that turtle go bro!

As your attorney, I advise you to select the subtitles option on your TV remote control device.

Haha

Re: Couldn't understand a word Del Toro said

No, I always heard/understood what he said in the film just fine. I think. :)

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

Re: Couldn't understand a word Del Toro said

To be fair, half the time Del Toro's voice was being electronically distorted as a way of reflecting the main character's twisted mental state... Duke/Thompson couldn't understand him either.

Re: Couldn't understand a word Del Toro said

Couldn't understand a word he said in the Usual Suspects either….!!

Re: Couldn't understand a word Del Toro said

He flipped ya, flipped ya fareal.

Real life ain't as dope as the movies.

Re: Couldn't understand a word Del Toro said

Exactly ! :)

Re: Couldn't understand a word Del Toro said

As your attorney, I'd advise you to watch this movie again until you get used to Gonzo's speech patterns. It'll be a goddamn miracle if you get through your tenth viewing without turning into a wild animal.

Re: Couldn't understand a word Del Toro said

I had no trouble understanding Del Toro at all.

Yes, this is really me.
