So cute!! I wonder if I still have any of my videos! They are so sweet and cute. Rats in a pretty costume. 😍

She has a bunch of squirrel videos where she puts out treats for them. They get pretty close. That's quite a bit of trust! Look at those beautiful eyes on them! I liked her subtitles about how she would always provide love and safety for Ellie and her friends!

Do/did you put treats out for your squirrels out year-round? Remember when I told you about Sasha? She was a mama squirrel that I sort of nursed back. She came to my back porch, she had just given birth, and had been attacked by some animal and had fresh slash marks on her and was covered in wounds. I put fruit and nuts out for her every day and watched her come to see me, every single day, watching her heal up, very slowly. I knew she had a lot of healing to do. She was in really rough shape. I always made sure to put her food up on the porch where it was safe for her.

It was such a joy to watch her heal up, seeing those slash marks close and watch her gain weight as she continued to nurse until she was better.

If I had my way, I'd want to help feed all of Nature's critters. Except the mosquitoes! They feed on me enough as it is.

It's adorable when he throws a hotdog to the side so the racoons on the outer rim can have some food too, trying to make sure everyone gets some lol

Aww I love squirrels. I wanna pet squirrel. But I was told that they carry rabies and fleas. So..never mind.

But I still wanna see the flying squirrels though. I haven't gotten to see one of those yet.

Mine had no issues. I got them as rescued babies though.

Hmm… I'm seriously thinking about it. But it would wanna be outside. Ahh forget it. I'll stick with the birds.

I’ve never actually heard of Squirrels getting rabies? They do get other viruses though. As with most rodents, I think they can get the Hantavirus, which can be pretty serious.
