But the Nazi hierarchy wanted to eliminate Christianity and restore Odin and Thor.
But can you be honest and look at these opinions on Nazi Germany and realize they are also coming from an atheist and liberal perspective which wants to hold Christianity partly responsible for the Holocaust?
So as for objectivity there is more than one historical view on this.
And true, I'm not saying that Christian anti-Semitism didn't play a large part in encouraging the Holocaust. I'm saying that by itself did not sum up Nazism.There was the eugenics movement. There was the philosophy of Nietzsche. There was a neo-pagan movement in Germany in the 19th century which influenced Himmler.
And on a different note, what about Ernst Rohm's homoeroticism in terms of Nazi romanticism? It was not Christian.
