Chris Rock responses to Will Smith Slap One Year Later One Week Before Oscars

Some people Never learn. I like how people are reacting like he's the victim when he was the one who started it all and was the one who was disrespecting an old black women over her disease but people are reacting like Will is the abuser who was there to have a good time with his wife and in contention for the Lead Oscar. Now almost a year later he is still making fun of his wife and insulting Will as of course a stand up comedy performance to reel in the cow. Why didnt he do that when it happened or even to Will's Face? Of course he does it now knowing full well the public is behind him and Will having going through shame. I dont know any real Man who doesnt feel Will did the right thing. How can you disrespect a man's wife in front of the whole world over a joke? and did you not learn your lesson not to do that? To do that again in this comedy routine? Will let you know it was not acceptable and that was private now you go further to bring up her personal past life again shaming her after you shamed her for being bald? I wouldnt be surprised if this Time Will does kick his ass. Blame the bully for you provoking him and dissing his woman. I find it unsettling on how in this day and age with woke and #metoo he is allowed to get away with insulting a beautiful black accomplished woman hair lost in front of Billions on national tv gets a small smack but is seen as the hero to go after her again and now talking about her past intimate indiscretions. I know a sadist when I see one and I wouldnt be surprised if he enjoys being beaten down. It's a shame Will has had to endure this career blacklist for doing the right thing and defending his wife.

Without strife, your victory has no meaning.
Without strife, you do not advance.
Without strife, there is only stagnation.

I posted about this the day after Rock's Netflix performance, and I also posted specific clips.

That's okay, though. Maybe he has a little catching up to do. No harm, no foul.

Re: Chris Rock responses to Will Smith Slap One Year Later One Week Before Oscar

I definitely understand Chris Rock's feelings about it.

However, I do think it is time for Chris Rock to accept Will Smith's apology and move on. I really believe that this feud between the 2 of them over what happened has gone on for too long and it needs to end.

Don't get me wrong, I 100 percent without question think that Will Smith was wrong (of course he was wrong!) and messed up ROYALLY for slapping Chris Rock at the Academy Awards and he definitely deserved to get that 10 year ban from the Academy Awards for it.

However, how many times now (since that Oscars) has Will Smith apologized for it ?

I may be wrong about the number (if I am then please let me know) but I think Will Smith has apologized for it now about 3 or 4 times and both he and members of Chris Rock's own family have said that Will Smith has tried to reach out (in private) to Chris Rock.

Honestly, I myself learned a very long time ago that it takes a BIG man to admit that he made a mistake (whether it is a BIG mistake or a small one) and own up to it. I also learned that it takes an even BIGGER man to come out and apologize for it and completely accept all of the consequences for it.
