I suppose Explorers might be a good one too. I'm not sure about Tales from the Crypt, but to insist upon something darker than The Lost Boys, we could throw in Tales from the Dark Side and, maybe, the very campy TerrorVision.

My daughter is 4 years old and not very interested in sitting through a whole movie, but when she is interested, I really want to introduce her to all the great films and shows I grew up with

That's funny me and my 4 year old daughter are watching The Monster Squad on Netflix right now and she's loving every second of it!!! :)

I just saw this with my 11-year-old daughter and she loved it to bits!! It also brought back so many wonderful memories for me of when my bro and I watched it together as children (even younger than my girl!!). This movie is still a lot of fun after all these years.
