I Need To Know : Can someone help me remember the name of a children's film set in India?

Can someone help me remember the name of a children's film set in India?

The film was a typical animated movie with anthropomorphic animals like in Robin hood. It had a general Robinhood "feel" as well. However, it was set in either India or South east Asia… some place with monkeys and elephants but not Africa.
The one scene which I remember clearly was when the main character (I think he was a lion or a tiger) was captured and taken aboard a ship along with a companion. They're tied up and decide to ingest some berries or drugs which made them appear dead. So they were dumped off the ship and then escaped back to shore. I think that they had crafted inflatable things before falling unconscious. There may also have been a bird who was free but I'm not sure.
It wasn't Junglebook. I know that much.

I also think (this is very hazy) that the movie began with a wedding that was interrupted by an evil monkey-character. There was a battle and the movie was about rescuing the princess. The ending featured the storming of the monkey king's fortress.
I may be mixed up here so don't take this too literally. The only thing I remember strongly was the scene on the boat.

Can someone help me out please?

No need for a new post (now a new thread) on the SAME subject! One and ONLY one is sufficient.
