Apollo 18 : Blair Witch Project on the moon
Re: Blair Witch Project on the moon
It's right at the bottom of the barrel of space movies that I'd watch. I've read mixed reviews and recommendations, but I can't imagine it being good.
Re: Blair Witch Project on the moon
It sucked! I was so disappointed.
Re: Blair Witch Project on the moon
The Moon as a setting isn't particularly interesting to begin with. It's too familiar to feel alien as far as space films go. Though, I did like Moon (2009). I guess it works better as a location used for telling stories of isolation.
Re: Blair Witch Project on the moon
I gotta disagree. The moon being so near to us, yet so different makes it feel much more alien than an actual alien planet teeming with life, an atmosphere, weather, and other things we have on Earth.
So many stories, so little time.

Not bad, but no atmosphere.
😺 Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't. 🤨 Let's go, Brandon! 🤨 Try that in a small town.

Blair Witch Project on the moon
For me the movie started to fall apart pretty quickly because the footage was intended to have the look and feel of realism. The crew start doing and saying stuff that might make for a good bio-flick, but concept of this movie is that its actual footage from real astronauts. Well if if were real footage, these astronauts were poorly trained and not very bright. "Oh I wonder what is over there in that dark crater. I am going explore it by myself"…spooky
They could have called the movie "The Blair Witch Project: Apollo 18"
