Black Widow : Best Marvel Studios intro to date. Chilling, haunting, emotional.

Best Marvel Studios intro to date. Chilling, haunting, emotional.

I like comic book movies but I’m not an MCU fan, too juvenile for me. Here, the entire opening scene with Natasha’s family is particular effective, which ends with Natasha’s father giving his daughters away, the latter of whom are drugged to unconsciousness before being flown off.

And then it gets to the opening credits montage, where the editing and song choice are perfect, and you see the true horrors of Natasha’s childhood. We know what’s going on here. it’ll make you do a double-take. I had to turn to my girlfriend and ask, “Marvel went HERE?”

This is the best credits Intro in the MCU to date as well as the darkest theme they ever had.

The rest of the movie was just OK (David Harbour was so bad) while having a strong, gritty first act but midway through it started to incorporate the Marvel cheese. but overall still the best Marvel/Disney film. This is a good start.

You really think it's the Best "MARVEL" Film ?

Re: Best Marvel Studios intro to date. Chilling, haunting, emotional.

Yeah but keep in mind I think they all suck. Iron Man 1 is number 2.

No superpowers in this one either.

Only a female director could’ve done this too.

They even touch on the Joss Whedon poses. “Why were you posing like that? It’s obviously fake!” 🤣🤣

The only problem I have with this is that I have a hard time believing the “Russians” would still be doing this **** in the late 80’s and 90’s anymore .

Oh yesss…Boo 💦💦💦

Re: Best Marvel Studios intro to date. Chilling, haunting, emotional.

Wait

In a superhero universe with a Norse god and a doctor who turns into a muscular green being when angry, Natasha being sold into child sex trafficking is hard to believe because it was the 90s?

That aside, what makes you think it isn’t happening now?

Well maybe it is considering Putin is in power.
