Take Shelter : As a storm chaser, I found this film fascinating! UPDATE

As a storm chaser, I found this film fascinating! UPDATE

I leave on Sunday for Oklahoma City for a 10 day storm chasing trip. Last year we saw nine tornadoes, including a big one at Canadian, Texas on May 27. It was awesome, the most exciting day of my entire life! I can't even begin to describe the adrenaline rush!

UPDATE:
The 2016 Tour was even better than the 2015 Tour! We saw 20 tornadoes including 14 in one hour and half long storm system southwest of Dodge City, Kansas. This included two and at one point THREE tornadoes on the ground simultaneously! And the best part was nobody was killed, and there was only minimal damage to Dodge City.

That brings my personal total to 29. Can't wait for the 2017 Tour.

I have to ask...did anyone make a "get outta dodge" joke?
Sounds like fun, though. Glad to hear no one was killed. I've always had an interest in storm chasing but I'm a bit of a chicken lol :)

LOL! You would have thought someone would, but they didn't.

As to Storm Chasing you should try it some time. It's a blast! I'll take my fourth tour this May. I've seen 29 tornadoes, and I haven't received a scratch. The head honcho of the company (Silver Lining Tours) is Roger Hill. He's seen over 750!
