Re: Any Good?

yeah its pretty damn good

Re: Any Good?

I saw it this weekend. No, no it is not a good movie. Go find the movie only if you wish to auction it on eBay for $10 or less. Hope this helps!

Re: Any Good?

I saw it a while ago. and I enjoyed it very much. I would love to see it again. It's a bloody and funny film, like 'Evil Dead II'. It'll be worth the dig!

What other films have you got in your basement?

Re: Any Good?

Re: Any Good?

No. Terrible, the worst movie I have ever seen. Seriously, if I see a worse movie than this between now and the time of my death, I will be very disappointed. I am a worse person for seeing this movie.

Re: Any Good?

It's more of profoundly stupid comedy that happens to be a horror movie. If you go into it expecting a lot of goofy ideas, idiotic jokes, and shocks for the sake of shock value, no plot to speak of, you will not be disappointed. Turn off your brain completely and wallow in the gore and stupidity. It's not a serious horror film.

Re: Any Good?

The people above seemed , some of them to have missed the point.
If you like B-horror tongue in cheek type of things, black comedys, By all means watch it.

Re: Any Good?

This movie is awesome, people that think otherwise are just insane. Its just as good as the movies Frank Henenlotter has done which I think are awesome as well. I can't believe people saying this is the worst movie they ever seen...well then you certainly haven't seen bad movies. Check out any Camp Motion Pictures films to see stuff that is way worse and amatuer.

Re: Any Good?

Good? "Good" isn't the word. "Monumentally GENIUS" is more on the nose.

Re: Any Good?

AMAZING!!!!

Re: Any Good?

One of the most goofiest horror movies I've ever seen. One word I'd use to describe it would be "offbeat". The mid-80s to the mid-90s had it's share of offbeat movies. This is no exception. It's pure of randomness with some of the things they throw at you. I can see why some might not like it, but I thought it was funny, or "corny", which is the more fitting word. Considering it hails from the late-80s, when horror started to lean more towards comedic hijinks, it's alright for what it is.

Re: Any Good?

My favorite 80's horror slasher!
Of course it's good. Better than good.
10/10

Re: Any Good?

I'm fully aware that this was supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek horror-comedy but it feel flat for me in every way when I watched it this past weekend. Just really badly and idiotic done I thought. I watched it as part of a horror movie marathon and couldn't wait for them to get to the next movie. Outrageous, gory, borderline-nihilistic horror-comedies can be really enjoyable when they're made with skill, i.e. the films of Frank Henenlotter, early films of Sam Raimi, early films of Peter Jackson, etc. This is just not one of them. Just dreadful.

Re: Any Good?

"I watched it as part of a horror movie marathon" Same here. Hated it. That scene with the band at the end went on forever.

Re: Any Good?

The poster art(the one with the moon overlooking the diner) is the best thing to come out of the film.

Re: Any Good?

It's an enjoyably outrageous horror splatter comedy hoot and a half.

Happy Birthday, Motherfucker!

Re: Any Good?

It was a friend of mine's favourite film.
