Scooby-Doo : Almost everyone in this movie is…

Almost everyone in this movie is…

Good looking.
Except for a few spooky characters, good looks and youth seem to have been a requirement.
And there were no fat people.
This includes:
The people at the beginning, who arrive with Pamela Anderson.
The people in the background in Shaggy's beach scene.
The people at the airport.
The people on the plane.
The people on Spooky Island.
The people in the cult training video.

It seemed like the movie was making some kind of a statement, as with the puzzling cameo of Pamela Anderson, the "good looking guy" (curly haired blonde boy) in her crowd, and the extremely pretty video girl. It seemed like more than just noticeable bias in hiring for production value.

I think the best looking of all was the girl in the training video. Her name is Holly Brisley.

Re: Almost everyone in this movie is…

There was definitely a lot of eye candy! Sarah Michelle Gellar, Linda Cardellini and Isla Fisher are all babes! But my favorite was Sarah as Daphne! SO HOT! I liked the character even more after Sarh played it and made her sexier than ever! Daphne, as in the cartoon, was totally the hottest babe in the whole production. Freddie Prinze Jr. looked pretty hot too.

Re: Almost everyone in this movie is…

Yes, I also liked Sarah, and I must admit, her shorty outfit. And I like her acting and the way she carries herself.
(I was just watching the sequel and I was noticing in some scenes just how strikingly pretty she is.)

You'd almost think that because Velma is given a plain-ish treatment that Daphne is supposed to be the pretty one and the romantic interest. And in most romantic movies, or even movies with a "romantic interest", they don't allow anyone else as pretty as the leading lady. So it's interesting that they allowed Isla Fisher and Holly Brisley, and all the bikini babes with the rock band, and let's not forget Pamela Anderson.

You might also think that Fred was the pretty-boy of the movie, but there were other very handsome young guys, and so Fred and Daphne were just part of the eye-candy.

What about Velma's man?
