You don't want to become the new blacks, where everyone has to assume you only got into college because of affirmative action. Adversity builds character. Special rights keep you ghettoized. This is for their own good. Remember when Chaz Bono and others changed sex decades ago and nobody cared. Now it's shoved in our faces and we resent it. "Chelsea" Manning can't have a sex change unless you pay for it for her. Who wins there? Big Pharma.

Is it really shoved in your face? It's the people like you who keep making it a problem and won't shutup about it. You want to control people. Gays want to get married, so what let them. After all the fear, the ones here in MA seem to be intelligent couples who are very educated and bring up intelligent adopted kids. The examples I've seen seem to have a lot of respect for marriage and knowing how to work out problems. Meanwhile, tons of hypocrites are having affairs, divorces, and yet continue to think they are better then everyone else.

I don't know why we can't just have unisex bathrooms. For all the years we've argued about who goes in where we could've remodeled half the bathrooms in the country by now to simply be gender neutral. I guess that solves the problem too easily tho.

Exactly.

It's the easy solution. We use unisex bathrooms all the time in our home.

I've been in LA for the past few weeks and it seems like a lot of beach places have switched to this.

Regarding Trump, he never said he was for the bathroom bills. In fact, he was openly critical of Obama's handling of it and supported North Carolina.

Just because he is indifferent to it at his places does not mean that he was ever for the government intervening on it.

To his credit & detriment, Trump's primary concern for money is his driver for acceptance so if anyone could pay to stay at his resorts regardless of minority status, then of course they could stay at his hotels.

If I were you, I'd wanna be me too.

I still don't understand the bathroom issue. Or the 54 genders. And I'm pretty lib.
