Sorry, but I miss Stacey Dash. The new actress that is replacing her is bad. Her acting skills are not up to par and she is really annoying with her baby voice. She is obviously very beautiful like Dash but I don't think I could watch her deliver her lines and not squirm.

I agree. She didn't even express completely any emotion when she saw her fiancee cheat on her.. wow & I was really hopeful for a SD cameo :(

Agreed! Her voice is super annoying and she is a terrible actress. And her whole "poor me im pretty and rich but my life is hard" story line was stupid and boring. I do miss Stacey Dash even though she wasn't much better then Denise but i grew to like her. This show over all is not that great, but i don't have much of a choice in black shows on tv especially since BET ruined The Game. I also felt the way they ended Val on the show was pretty bad as well, the should have just kept her character!

her voice was so annoying, i dont think i am going to be watching this show any more.

stacey dash isnt the best actress, but i think her portrayal of val was just relatable i really enjoyed the show and felt like val was one of my girlfriends.. plus i really like stacey dash in general.. (god i wish i looked like her!)


I am glad that they didnt just use denise vosi to play the val character, that they created a new character for her because it always does leave the option for stacey to come back and guest star. i think if that where to happen then i would watch those episodes, but alas i probably wont continue to watch this show any more, and thats sad. VH1 did a really bad thing by firing her.

Zabbree, I'm reading this thread and LMAO. SD is not a very good actress along with the rest of them.

This show is fun to watch because of the story and the eye candy, but definitely not acting skills.

ITA! When I was watching her & Kiesha together I found it hard to believe that they were friends. IMO, no friendship chemistry. She's still new, so maybe that will change. Right now I'm not impressed.

Not feeling the new girl at all. She was just horrible and unbelievable as a friend of Keisha's. The age difference was VERY apparent! And the damn backstory, I kept thinking there's NO way they became like sister during the summers Keisha visited her Aunt who lived next door to Raquel because Keisha is a good 20 yrs older than Raquel so the age gap just wouldn't have allowed for this. What Val was like 15/16 with a 2 year old as a best friend?

People can be friends with people that are of different ages. That being said, IMO, the friendship between Raquel & Keisha still isn't believable. When I was looking at them I kept saying that Keisha either looks like a much older sister or her mother. I guess that I'm not buying their friendship because like you said how could they become like sisters when the age gap was there. If they wanted people to buy that, they should have picked another actress. What about Monica Calhoun. She was good w/LR, in the Player's Club.

I like Denise Vasi, but not in this role. She is very pretty, but I think that if they wanted to replace Stacey Dash, I think that Lark Voorheis or Nia Long would have been wonderful replacements. They are around the same age group of Stacey Dash and LisaRaye, they are both beautiful, and they are good actresses. This would have been an amazing opportunity for them.

You should send Stacey Dash an email or fan letter tell her to go back the show. That she shouldn't have quit the show after one season.

I'm used to Raquel. I like her, but I still don't think that the actress is a good one though.

I watch the first few episodes with the wife. Wasn't bad, but it did go downhill with Stacy Dash's character left. I guess her real life fights with LisaRaye was the last straw and she left. No one on here are the best actors, even though I think LisaRaye does the best job. I'm not watching it anymore now anyways. I gave up on this and don't care for Love and Hip-Hop. I did like "The Haves and Have Nots". I just don't have time to watch it. I do like "Welcome to Sweetie Pies" show though. Wish I had more time to watch that one.
